Many people do want to interview several agents to pick the best one. I have a report on the Top 10 Questions You should Ask Before Hiring an Agent, Let me tell you about that..

1. Many home sellers quickly figure out, that not all real estate agents are the same.
2. And picking the wrong agent can cost a home seller thousands.
●There are agents that give a commission discount and do very little
●There are agents that charge full price and do very little
●Some people assume that the agent that sold them the home would be a good fit to be their agent to re-sell the home.
○I recently met with a home seller that found out that was not the case. While they really liked the agent to find them that home. When it came to selling their was very little effort to appropriately: price the home & promote the home to get buyers to come see it. The result was about 1 showing a month and no sale when they should have had 5 showings a week, and a sale in less than a few weeks.
3. So, when home sellers are considering selling a home, they want to interview agents but they are not sure what to ask…
4. The name of the report is the 10 Questions to Ask Before You Hire an Agent. Here are a few of the questions:
●How many buyers are you working with?
●How likely is your company to bring buyers through my home?
●What happens if I am not happy with the job you are doing? Can I cancel my listing contract?
○Many home sellers feel stuck in a long term contract, and become dissatisfied if its not seller.

Why is it important to know about the agent’s performance in the past?
Well, I’m a big baseball fan. If you are a baseball fan, you know the past performance of the players is a good indication of their future performance. I’m a big fan o Charlie Blackmon of the Rockies. He is a great hitter and great fielder. When I asked my nephew about him who is a professional Referee, he said, “Oh isn’t he old?” I was very surprised he said that. I guess he is in his 30s but his performance continues to be stellar and that is why he is still in the big leagues Selling a home is not for rookies. There are a lot moving parts and a lot of people involved to get it right. You want a professional on your side who performs. There are over 4900 agents in the Pikes Peak region. 74% of them sold 3 homes or less in the past year. 25% of the agents have sold zero homes. When you are selling a home do you want the agent that does this all the time and performs well or the agent that is just starting out and doesn’t sell very many homes? So those are great questions to ask:

○How Many homes do you sell a year, or a month
○How many homes have you sold in my area?

■My team and I are selling a home every 48 hours.
■And we know our performance statistics without having to look them up…
